Writers wanted! Fancy sending your story and have it published?

W e are happy to inform our followers that we have started with the preparations of the printed editions of The Huaraz Telegraph for the 2017 season. We will inform our audience next week about what to expect exactly. In the meanwhile, we are looking for writers.

During the high season (June-Sept.) Huaraz is visited by many foreign tourists who intensively read our monthly newspaper that is available at more than 40 hostels, hotels and lodges in the city and Callejón de Huaylas. We would like to get in touch with people that have some spare time while enjoying the outskirts of the city and are wondering if you could help us out by sharing your experiences on for example trekking, climate change, bouldering, social activities or volunteering. We would like to publish your story and by doing so, a printed copy edition of The Huaraz Telegraph is a nice item to take back home as a memory and to show your parents or friends.

The Huaraz Telegraph is also looking for people that have been in Huaraz in the past and have completed researches or studies (archeological, biological, historical etc.) and are willing to share their experiences with our readers. Please contact our editor by email or fill in the contact form on our website for more information. It´s not required to be a native English speaker. Peruvians can also send their stories in Spanish which will be translated and published in English.
